Winds of Change
Fall is my favorite time of year because it brings a gentle reminder that anything can have a fresh start. Leaves change, they fall and eventually wilt back into the Earth. However, come Spring … the trees are filled with new life and more vibrant leaves. Grief and Loss are symbols of what we once held dear and in time, we can find beauty through it all. When we take the crisp Fall air into our lungs, it reminds us in a small subtle way that we have someone looking over us. It's brisk climate caressing our shoulders peacefully offer a possibility of new beginnings and better tomorrows!
"Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the Fall" -F. Scott Fitzgerald
Fall is happiness in a tea cup. I am thrilled that Georgia has finally decided to jump on board with my hopes and dreams of cooler temperature! So, Fall don't pass by too swiftly. Stay a while and allow me to bask in your glorious prospect. Grief was once a dominant factor in my life and now it just sits calmly in the waiting room of my heart as grace drapes over my visible wounds. I have allowed the seasons to come and go freely and I am thankful that I am currently experiencing Fall.
