This is me
Since publishing my first book in June, I’ve met so many new people. I would like to take the time to tell you a little about myself. I’m not your average girl and definitely not your average Pastors Wife but if I were, what fun would that be? I didn’t get where I am today without heartache and sacrifice. So, I am going to tell you a few of my favorite things. Some of the things that have distracted me from pain along the way.
I have been a Georgia Peach my entire life and plan to stay that way! I love orchestra and symphonies of string, especially the electric violin! I love the spa and anything involving relaxation!
Family is the most important thing in my life! We Pastor Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Conyers, GA. It is a growing and diverse Church both generationally and culturally that is rich in its heritage.
Anthropologie Volcano candles are my favorite but I do love Fall Scented candles as well. My favorite color is pink! I love to wear black and accessorize! Although, my husband loves me to wear white so I indulge every now and then. I am a loyal Coco Chanel Perfume girl! I love to travel and take pictures! My favorite travel spot currently is anywhere a Cruise ship will take me!
I have a deep unrelenting relationship with chocolate! There are times I skip dinner and go straight to dessert!
Writing has always been an escape for me. I first started writing when I was younger and spent hours alone at home. I would make up stories and usually talk them out. As I got older, I found it better to write my feelings down. I love to express myself through writing and hopefully speaking into someone else’s life.
Last but not least is me, because if I don’t make the list as one of my favorite things, I can’t enjoy the things that did. I have learned over the past year to love myself, embrace my flaws and grow in grace. I’m not anywhere close to perfect. I say things when I should be silent and I get frustrated because I’m human. My pain is as real as yours and I believe that we can all extend each other a measure of grace as we walk through this life.
Love BIG, Your friend,
Denisha
